INNOVATION IN MOTION THE 14TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION Reagan E. Jackson I nnovate Mississippi hosted the 14th Annual Conference on Technology Innovation November 12-13 at the Jackson Convention Complex. Hundreds of attendees, speakers and sponsors participated in the informative sessions, networked in the exhibit hall, and enjoyed breakfast and lunch programs. "This was our best conference yet," said Tony Jeff, president and CEO of Innovate Mississippi. "This year featured the best content, the most active participants and reflected the advancement of the innovation economy in Mississippi." The breakfast program speaker was Hannah Gay, M.D., of the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Named by TIME  20 Pointe Innovation magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, she described her role in orchestrating the functional cure of an HIV-positive infant and her goal of eliminating HIV in infants around the world. A variety of breakout sessions followed, with topics including: Tools to Help You Work Smarter, Better and Faster: Featuring Kurt Black of Glenwood Digital, Ryan Farmer of Mad Genius and Nathan McNeill of Bomgar. Telehealth: Connecting Medicine Statewide: Featuring Steve Davidson of C Spire, Dr. Kristi Henderson of the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Christopher Northam of Humana.
